The Calgary Folk Music Festival is kicking off in full gear for another summer of music greatness at Prince's Island Park. The Festival continues to be a favourite event for locals and tourists alike. This year brings out a diverse list of 70 artists from 13 countries, with 8 stages all within close walking proximity. Opening night opened with a brief rainstorm, but that didn't stop the hardy festival goers who were well-prepared. The sun came out and turned into a beautiful evening.
